Kelsey Williams is a Las Vegas resident and a graduate student at Full Sail University, currently working as a corporate recruiter.
She is pursuing a Master of Art’s degree in New Media Journalism. She holds an Associate degree in Broadcasting and Production from Gaston Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Production from Full Sail.
Her journalistic work covers neurodivergent experiences in education and workplaces.
She began her career in broadcasting as a volunteer DJ as WSGE 91.7, the local NPR affiliate in Dallas, North Carolina. Covering local artists, membership drives, and DJ’ing the midday Tuesday alternative show, she continued from there to a production tech role at the Carowinds theme park.
Having moved to Las Vegas a month before the COVID pandemic lockdowns started, she pivoted to a corporate recruiter role, where she currently hires across North America for customer service and technical support. In all of her positions, her passion for neurodiversity and inclusivity in the workplace, has been front and center.
She is committed to kindness and the authenticity of human experiences. Proudly part of the autistic community, her diagnosis and challenges that come with it frame her approach to stories about health, culture, and accessibility. She enjoys digging into patterns, finding the puzzles all around us, and doing one small thing to improve someone’s day.
In pursuing her Master’s Degree in New Media Journalism, she aims to return to her broadcasting & production roots.
